I've had it for three years now, and each spring it send up a more spectacular show of blossoms, but the rest of the year, it just looks like fleshy grass. It lives on my west balcony. The second picture is a hoya lacunosa, one of several very happy hoyas that hang in my windows. I have cats too; however, they are pretty good about staying off the plants, so my house is full of chlorophyll.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12607821498331135305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30498647.post-65557504578193910012007-03-22T12:07:00.000-07:002007-03-22T12:07:00.000-07:00I could crawl inside that orchid and get lost. Now that I am in a condo with a cat, I am restricted from growing many things. There are a few moth-eaten ebay aspidistras, a rope, spiders, and a svelte cylindrical sansevieria out of the cat's way in the kitchen.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14970742141705361136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30498647.post-65571622920495357212007-03-15T12:36:00.000-07:002007-03-15T12:36:00.000-07:00J and E: Thanks for the offer of the octagon!S in...J and E: Thanks for the offer of the octagon!

S in I: Ah, a community garden plot . . . Still, I long for a yard too, or at least a community garden plot.Susan in Italyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03504876361780195313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30498647.post-23661012471668187572007-03-12T22:11:00.000-07:002007-03-12T22:11:00.000-07:00Let me know if you wanna grow anything in "the oct...Let me know if you wanna grow anything in "the octagon."
