I think the garlic would really complement the sweet-earth of the beets.

Wendy: Sorry to hear about the gardening limbo--it sounds like an uncomfortable position in which to be. I hope you find resolution soon.

Winedeb: Whew! That's hot. I hope your peppers keep spitting out fiery little numbers for you.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12607821498331135305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30498647.post-21456694173924903492008-05-11T13:49:00.000-07:002008-05-11T13:49:00.000-07:00Your beans are lookin' good! The heat has taken over, like right now it is 86 out but feels like 96, and the evenings are not cooling down at all. So I have picked the last of my tomatoes and lettuce, but the herbs and hot peppers are still cranking on. Therefore, I look forward to seeing all of your progress! Your babies are so cute!winedebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16891313852429967357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30498647.post-60666333925758396602008-05-10T01:10:00.000-07:002008-05-10T01:10:00.000-07:00I'm still in growing limbo. I was remembering a jar of seeds she had of them on the back porch that may still be there. You've inspired me even more to look for them. And I appreciate how up close you look at the beans. They're gorgeous. Thank you.Kale for Salehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02467378353738682141noreply@blogger.com
